I traded in my 2001 VW GTi with 180k miles and 1993 Nissan 300ZX N/A with 190k miles and got $4k for both. Not too bad considering everything that was wrong with the Z. Two cylinders were low on compression, no A/C, no heat, corded tires. I had always planned on restoring it since it was the first car I bought when I was 16 but decided I had enough with old cars and so I bought a brand new car.

Enjoy the car! It's a huge change in every way from a Z32, but it's fun. Especially with boost.
Nice! Good to meet another former Z owner and shifter kart racer. Did you by chance come up to Hallett (near Tulsa, OK) last year? There were a number of shifters from Texas that I raced against and had a blast.

I haven't been to Hallett since before I sold my Z. So, 2002 was the last time I was there maybe?

This little moment made me shit myself last year at Hallett. Luckily I held the slide and didn't spin and I don't think I touched him because he just kept going. I thought I could get on the inside of him in the corner, but nope, the grip wasn't there. FYI, how much my steering wheel is turned, that is opposite lock in the kart.

Been there. I've even flipped mine. Just me too, didn't run into another kart's wheel. Things go wrong quick if/when they go wrong. So much fun though, makes me really have no desire to get back on track with a car.
