New FR-S Owner
Hello, I bought a 2015 Scion FR-S in November of last year and finally decided to post up here. I traded in my 1993 Nissan 300ZX that I had owned for 10 years for the FR-S, which was very hard to do, but on to new and possibly better things! She will be my daily driver and I plan on taking her to a few track days. Probably will go with some coilovers, front sway bar, and just intake and exhaust.
The day I picked her up: ![]() Next to the old girl: ![]() A few pics in the first week I had her: ![]() ![]() Love the Halo pearl! ![]() I have already replaced all the interior lights, reverse lights, and license plate lights with LEDs, put on a 4500K HID kit, replaced the Scion badges with Toyota badges, and put on some snow tires for the winter. ![]() Also took her to the dyno, 163whp/134ftlb torque. ![]() And the latest that came in the mail today. Enkei PF01 wheels, 17x8 +35, wrapped in 245/40/17 Direzza ZII tires. Of course, they won't be mounted until spring. ![]() And my other hobby! Been racing a shifter kart for 4 years in auto-x and started road racing it last year. Very addicting. Last edited by 86_Freak; 02-05-2015 at 12:07 PM. |

Yes. Among some other minor tweaks, they changed the exhaust for 2015. They also changed the antenna to a shark fin, changed the carbon fiber part of the dash, added leather and padding to where your knees hit, and I have an armrest!

Congrats on the car! I got the same color, 2015 as well! FYI, they changed the front sway bar in the 2015. It's stiffer, so the car has more understeer now, harder to get the back to slide out. I noticed you were thinking about changing it, so figured I'd point it out! I made the mature, responsible choice to get a huge stiff rear sway bar so I can slide around like an idiot :P Sent from my HTC One_M8 using Tapatalk

Hi. Former Z32 owner too (just a lot longer ago). Still semi-active in the community.
Also a shitter kart enthusiast. Enjoy the car! It's a huge change in every way from a Z32, but it's fun. Especially with boost. |
