Thanks guys! I really want to keep my car stock, but I also really want a backup camera. I think I'll go forward.

By the way, the fuel door on my 2014 BRZ was broken too, and this on a dealer certified car. I took it back and they bent the tab.

Thank you.. I hate the word "void" nothing "voided" the warranty.. My KW supercharger did not "void" my warranty.. they just will deny a warranty claim for the drivetrain, but will still fix something like the window regulator should it go bad. Working at the dealership for so long has taught me that.. but it should be deny warranty claims, not void..


And say your head unit goes out, they can deny that warranty claim to fix it due to the camera plugged into it. BUT they have to prove that the camera was the cause.. if you come in knowledgeable in the situation then you should be good, otherwise they pull the "deny it because aftermarket camera caused it to not function correctly" and you pay for a new one
