The rubber snakes solution worked well for my house... We had birds getting into the attic vents and making nest. Zip tied some rubber snakes in there and they've never returned! (But if you forget the fake snake is there it will freak you out when getting in the attic...)

Yeah, I desperately need to find some rubber snakes. I've check wal-mart and the dollar stores and I cannot find any! I plan on buying 2-3 and just tossing them up on the roof.
