Nameless overpipe and front pipe combo is supposed to add about 10 horsepower. Take that how you will.
Other than that, an Open Flash Tablet will do it. |

If you mean spunk from a performance standpoint, tires for sure. I'm running and highly recommend the Michelin Pilot Super Sports.
If by spunk, you mean the fun factor, switching to an aftermarket exhaust increased the fun factor for me big time (I have a Tomei 60S). With your budget, I'd consider the Motiv Concepts front pipe and a set of JDM tips. Increase sound, a bit of power, and improved looks (the stock tips are just downright nasty). Here's some sound clips of the catted and non-catted versions on an otherwise stock exhaust: Catted: [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tKcMmQQOtBA"]MOTIV Concepts Scion FR-S High Flow Catalytic Converter - YouTube[/ame] Non-Catted: [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uAAc3wTuytM"]Motiv test pipe - YouTube[/ame] [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dgEQhQG2TbU"]Motiv test pipe 2 - YouTube[/ame] |

Don't underestimate the change that the OFT will make to the way the car drives.
If you keep everything else stock the OFT will greatly improve the driving feel by reducing the torque dip and improving the throttle response. |

The only problem I have with the front pipe is installation is MUCH harder than and axle back. I am completely confident that I can DIY no problem but if I don't get the results I am looking for I will be very sad and be at square 1.

Which do you think will make the car more enjoyable for a DD, not track use. OFT is an incredible product and I've heard it makes the higher revs sound different but I just don't know if thats what I want.

The pipe (which can be catted and/or resonated) will just add a little power, as seen in this post: http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showp...&postcount=163 Personally, once finances get caught up (glasses are expensive) I'm going to purchase the Nameless pipe, and my car is my DD. |

@m.wood0213 I think that the OFT is the best choice for some butt dyno fun, but if your going exhaust and don't want drone or crazy noise go with the Q300. Here is mine:
[ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=e8PDeyDJzEQ"]Invidia Rev - YouTube[/ame] Q300 invidia catted FP and invidia OP. Good luck with your choice!! Steve

Bilsteins aren't stiffer, they're better controlled.
The springs and roll bars (plus bump stops) create "stiffness". Properly engineered struts and dampers (which OEM definitely r not) control the springs to give a smooth ride and terrific handling especially transitions. |

@m.wood0213 just a heads up that just over the weekend i installed the catback Q300 and there is noticeable drone at cold idle and a tiny bit at lower rpms here and there. @Venator also has the catted front pipe and over pipe which probably eliminates that problem.
But it could also be that the drone may go away after it's broken in, idk but wanted to give you a heads up.

Weird, I never had any drone at all.. I wonder what's different. I did install the whole header back at once tho.
