9.75" width? I've never heard of such a thing... Massive.
XXRs are heavy for their size, and these ones are colossal. Does the car make grooves in the road as it drives along? |

Definitely not the greatest look out there. Maybe he's also including some absolutely heinous install costs too? If not, that's a pretty serious overstatement.

I wouldn't do it. The 18x9.75 XXR's have like a +20 offset, which is why you can see the wheels poke out so much.
If you really like those wheels then get them new. You hardly ever see used XXR's for sale because they're so cheap to buy new anyways. I got my set of 530's for about $125 piece. If I were you I'd definitely stick with 18x8.75 +35. Don't go wider than that otherwise you'll have a ton of poke. Here's a website a lot of people trust. They're usually out of stock with Chromium Black, but if you go ahead and purchase the wheels through their site then they will ship them out to you within 3-6 weeks once they become available. www.nlmotoring.com Tire Crazy is also another good site. Or if you want you can go to Discount Tire and have them price match NLMotoring or Tire Crazy. That's what I did.

With stock wheels a lot of people that put spacers on go with 15mm front, 20mm rear wheel spacers. With factory wheels those spacer sizes will give you a decent flush look...but then of course you're going to want to get rid of your wheel gap after that. Best bet is to look at a ton of pictures and see which wheel widths give you a nice flush look without spacers. Spacers aren't bad, but they're not recommended. It's better to find a wheel with a good offset than get a wheel that needs spacers to be flush. Hope that helps.
