So... Shiv, i got the CEL Error again, even after reflashing with the map you sent me, and tightening the bolts. Problem is.. Im in the middle of the road, and i have a 1.000km trip ahead of me. So right now im reflashing again with the same map. Please advice on what should i do!!! Do i need to reflash everytime, or should i just go to diagnostics and erase the code? (Same as before). Thanks

Just erase the code until you get wherever you are going...there's no need to reflash when you can just erase the code.

No need to keep reflashing the ecu. As other said, you can just clear the code. But are you sure you are seeing the P0420 and not something else?

When i go to clear error code, P0420 pop ups. Just stopped for today, and no CEL yet after the reflash i did on the road. If it pops again ill clear it, and will check for leaks again.
Dumb question, but is it possible that the fuel (98 RON, but it has 20% alcohol...) ita the one causing this?

The P0420 code is disabled in the ROM file I sent you. So if you are still getting it, it's likely you didn't load the file correctly

P0420 should have nothing to do with fuel formations or exhaust leaks.

I deleted the file from the OFT then uploaded the one you sent me. Close everything, pluggued into car, tunning, selected the file (it has a * next to it) and write it. Anything i did wrong? CEL did come back this morning, cleared it, drove 600km and didnt got it again... So far. Hhhehe

If it the pO420 cat efficiency code again then you have not flashed the correct file or shiv stuffed up , highly unlikely .

Try erasing all the tune files from oft then just load the one shiv sent you, might be worth changing the file name on the one shiv sent you so you definitly know you loaded and flashed correct file

If you loaded correct file that pO420 code cannot come up

The * just tells you what map slot was flashed to the car previously, not which map. If you change maps around it will still show the old slot flashed with that *.
