They surely must have meant 230 estimated crank HP... those are all rebranded Nameless parts AFAIK.

You can slap Cosworth on anything and people will be nut swinging like crazy.

The actual post from cosworth states crank(or BHP) hp. OP left that part out, leading many people to believe, "oh, if I buy this my car will have 230 horsepower". Which...yes technically it will...but in actuality, you won't see even close to that number.

See, if they had been like, "new connecting rods, new piston shape, higher compression, knife-edge crank, port and polish heads, blah blah blah... 230 WHP NA" it would be different. That's what I expect Cosworth to come up with. Having an exhaust manufacturer with an existing product build you a special version and providing an off-the-shelf tune is not up to par with their reputation.

Jeez, the whiners infest this board now...having another upgrade option is NEVER a bad thing

There are additional stages on the way, maybe you'll get your magical unicorn upgrades then...

That's for catback & tune only. And w/o VAT. Full kit with VAT is £4,558.80 - like turbo or supercharger with install.

The first post and excitement is strange to me? That's 195-200 WHP (at best), available now for MUCH cheaper ... Color me confused...this has also been discussed like weeks ago across many threads?

Wait for stage 2 a Cosworth PD blower that will put out no better numbers then what's out now only will cost you several more grand to say you have their name on it. (Included plaque, whooopty dooo)... No thanks...

Hope I am wrong but I truly doubt it. At cost for what they're asking for stage 1 bits I'd say these are not going to be hot selling packages.

I've been told by my dealer that if they install aftermarket parts on the car, they will honor the warranty. There may be some limits to that, and for all I know just be that particular shop. I trust what he says regarding my car, YMMV. Yeah, given what's out there right now this seems way over priced.

Most places will warranty the part for 1 year/12,000 miles, or the balance of the car warranty only if its approved by OEM.
