Cosworth has finally announced specific details surrounding its first "Power Package" upgrade kit for the Scion FR-S, Subaru BRZ and Toyota GT86.

The Stage 1 package focuses on exhaust upgrades and electronic engine management, which together promise to bump the power output from 200 to 230 horsepower.

Its a major brand. I wouldn't be surprised if the price of this "Stage 1" kit ran between $3-4k.

They are claiming 230 BHP. So, after losses...probably 190ish to the wheels. And it's nothing more than a full exhaust and ecutek tune. Which means...it will void the warranty just as much as if you did it yourself piecing the kit together.

Exactly. If it was 230whp it would be impressive and I'm pretty sure this will still void the warranty

This is where the warranty part comes from. If it's approved by the manufacturer, then the warranty is still good. Seems like they are still working on that part though.
