1. People will tell the lazy op to use the search function, which he should have to begin with. Check

2. Others will give good sound advice about stock suspension and aftermarket options. Check

3. The OP will end up buying BC coilovers.

The end.
You forgot about the grammar Nazis, but I'll give you a pass on that.

BC, Megan, D2, Stance, all make excellent coilovers.

Dont't let people tell you more expensive coilovers are worth it. They're not. As long as they're height adjustable, and the colour you want, then go for it.

On that note, don't let anyone tell you that a Ford Pinto is any less of a good car than a Ferrari 458. As long as they go 55 mph, use gasoline, and is mostly the color you want, then go for it.

Seeing the mountainous amount of threads like this, i've decided to put my question here instead. Hopefully this will help OP on his coils decisions as well.

I've friends running KWs on their BRZ/86 however my question to them will always be, "Is it worth the money". But of course, product bias will always prevail. Thus, I wanna know whether I should be aiming for KWs or some other brands that would suffice my application.

I am:-

-Planning to do a couple to track days a year, maybe 2-3.
-Daily driven
-Close to stock ride
-I have wiggle room in terms of budget, hopefully I can get one that's a most bang for my buck, nothing too overkill.

Side note, I've ran KWs on my BMW Z4 as well, they were amazing but I feel it was abit of an overkill in terms of price vs what I am actually using it for.

Don't think you can or should cheap out on coils because you rarely or never track the car. The street is where sub-par damping will really drive you crazy.

I went with the Ohlins DFV for the FD because it is primarily a street car.

I upgraded from the RCE T0's to the KW V3's and I am a street driver, lowered, with wide wheels.

0 regrets and rides wonderfully. Not to mention looks incredible at car shows, but the geometry of the car isn't ruined even with my 1.7" drop. LCA's are parallel. The joys of having larger 18 inch wheels.

Yes, they are worth the money because coilovers are a "you get what you pay for" item.

If you're not too concerned with adjustability, you could also go with a quality strut/shock and spring combo.

the question should not be "is it worth the money"

the question should be "what is it that I want to change in the way the car operates," and you better damn know exactly why you want it.

because once you do, then 80% of the products simply drop off the table since they won't do what you want them to do or you will realize that what they do offer isn't actually what you need, and if they adjust one aspect of the car towards a perceived positive (such as stance, for instance), that they will degrade another component (such as road holding or comfort)

What's left will always be "worth the money," because through your research and thoughtful questions you would have chosen a product that will change the car's behavior to how you want it to.

Once you understand what the product offers, if you are prepared for it's pros and cons, then you simply decide whether you can afford it, be it a 500 dollar investment or a 5000 dollar investment.

This is why I've been on stock suspension for the last 6 years... I know what I want but I can't pull the scratch, so I'm saving until I do, and I will accept no substitute until then.

+1.

I guess I should hold out until I do my research 110%.
