BTW - I disputed with my card Co. I am only into this thing a month though. Too long with no response. Guy is a total loser at business. I will file a BBB report as well. Lame and a waste of time. Nice idea - really poor execution. Moving on...

It's crazy cause his stuff is super popular. He could easily be making really good money at this point based on popularity alone, but I for one have completely avoided his products because of horror stories like these.. Kinda sad.

Sucks to hear that Flossy has fallen off like this... I've been really happy with the shift knob I've bought from them not long after getting my BRZ (May 2012). For a subtle custom touch it's done well. Hope everything gets sorted for y'all having a bad experience!

I would try to get my money back if I were you guys. I read the same feedback months ago and decided not to get one.

People wouldn't get and replies to PMs or e-mails... meanwhile the Flossy instagram and facebook were posting up new pics.

I don't understand how people keep making the mistake of ordering from Flossy after all these bad experiences. Do you guys not do any research before you buy a product? Personally, I've stayed far far away from Flossy because of these reviews. Just wish more people would too so they don't keep losing their money.

lol - you know - I did do some research but not enough. I read that it might take a few weeks. I decided to take a shot. Some folks said it was spotty at best. However - I could not get a single response out of them. Just the automated response to the transaction. The response said it could take up to three weeks for engraving. I waited that long and an extra week.

So - That's when I pulled the trigger on a dispute. I also did more research and found out people have been plain ripped off and others have been waiting months. It appears as if something happened a couple of months back - things must be falling apart. They are not posting updates to their sites or removing bad posts or even making an effort. It would not surprise me if something has drastically changed in this guys life.

His site should be shut down for business, though. I may even send an e-mail to his store provider to register a complaint.

Not that I am being vindictive - it is just that something is not right. For whatever reason. Who knows? Maybe he broke up with his wife/gf and OD'd on heroin at this point. No one seems to know.

Doesn't change the fact that it seems to be running on auto-pilot. Has there been a Chad sighting in the last month or two?

This is really unfortunate as stated above... I ordered a Flossy knob a month before the holidays last year and received it no more than 2 weeks after I made the order. Hopefully you all get this resolved as it really is a nice product. I was looking to purchase another variation of the same knob.

There also was no communication about the order from his part, just an fyi.

It sucks. No doubt.

FYI - if anyone is interested and has been charged plus not received communication or product - you could try the Shoppify route - the e-commerce site that Flossy is hosted on. Their domain e-mail address is here: domains@shoppify.com
They also have a main website with additional contact info here:
http://www.shopify.com/

Once again - I hope the dude is OK and this is a blip - but there is no excuse for taking money and not providing product and communications.

They took about 40 days to get back to me, but only after I was posting on their instagram and tagging potential buyers in the post to warn them. I started an investigation with paypal just in case they didn't follow through, and they sent the knob, but without the adapter to actually use the knob. Basically I had a hollowed out heavy paper weight, and to top it off, it looked used and the powder coating was chipping off at the bottom of the knob. When I contacted them about it, I got no response, so I let paypal run it's course.

All in all, I would just avoid business with them completely.

The risk is worth the reward... I heard the horror stories before I ordered mine in May and the only reason I ordered it was because I had the choice to use paypal. They replied to my every email and got my knob within a week.
