I will venture a guess:
1 - you had your AC on
2 - The AC compressor was disenganged (cabin was cold & AC cycles on/off)
3 - when the ECU turns the AC compressor back on, it bumps up the throttle to keep the RPMs from dropping
4 - it happened at the only time you would really notice it (creeping into a parking space)

I have an AT. When the engine is cold, and I do not let it warm up for a minute, I also get the acceleration.
Say I start the car and immediately go to drive and pull forward 20 yards or so then stop the engine will rev up a bit.
I keep on the brakes and it feels like it wants to push me. If I click into neutral it revs up further then settles down pretty quick.

I thought that I saw a TSB for a ECU flash that would take care of this, but my dealer said no go. Only happens during the warmup period for me.

Well, now, Shim ..... I don't know about the OP ..... but, I'll have you know, I don't have giant clown feet ...... however, my house slippers are rather roomy .....

It must've happened when it was downshifting to 1st, sounds like the most logical explanation.
