That's a possibility but she didn't say if she was using a phone or not. By the way, she received a citation (failure to yield) and I did not for the accident. I haven't called the insurance company for a while to find out if they won the court case. And she'd be an idiot to tell you so. I'd hope it was SOP for the insurance company to examine her call records to see if they coincided with the accident. Of course, if she was cited for failure to yield, that's enough to establish liability, which is all they care about. I'd like to see phone records made a mandatory part of any accident investigation, and distracted driving a separate and mandatory charge if it is a contributor to an accident.
