My wife wants a new Head Unit to replace hers (hers doesn't have Bluetooth) so I should put the Pioneer in hers and buy a new one for myself. :P

Good job Subaru Canada!
Certainly that claimed Hill Holder system is highly dubious as well.

Nothing in the brochure on brake rotor size at all. Either 1) they don't want to draw attention to the fact they went cheap on the base brakes; or 2) the brake data in the technical specification sheet dated 30 April has been superceded, it was in error. I'll try to get an answer from Subie Canada tomorrow.

Just talked to a customer service rep at Subaru HQ re the brakes issue, he told me to contact a service manager at a dealership which I did - but he was unable to provide ANY info and he had not seen anything about the car at all - and yet they are pre-selling it so you are supposed to buy blind. LOL. Way to go Subie!

Update on brakes issue

I got a sales rep to check with technical dept. at Subaru Canada and she was told the vehicle specifications and ordering guide PDF is incorrect - both versions of the BRZ get the same brakes, and they are identical to those on the FR-S. So: $2200 for HIDs and nav. Hmmm.
