From what I read in the paper they're supposed to fill it to max and let you drive the 1000 miles. My worry is that they'll overfill so when it consumes oil it'll be at the "appropriate level". I lose a quart every 1,000 miles anyways so it's not too much of a deal for me if they fill it as is as I'll probably lose that quart anyways over the testing period.
