Power/memory seats would add a pretty significant amount of weight to the car..

@op, I feel you on this. It always drove me nuts when it would take 20mins to find "the spot" again. I also hate it when my husband moves my mirrors.

Oh, hmm then it makes sense to throw out. However, perhaps they should throw in an option for all-manual everything? Do heated seats not weigh as much?

Heated seats aren't much weight at all, just a bunch of wires while the power/memory seats need a motor.
