"How to make this car look good without a drop?"

IMHO, you can't.

OP - obviously you're wanting to improve the ascetics of your car, and aren't happy with the stock wheel gap. Larger wheels or spacers won't fix this. If you want less wheel gap, you need to lower the car. As other people have pointed out, you can install springs or coilovers to address this, with springs being the less expensive option.

You heard wrong... good quality lowering springs with some R&D behind them (not too low, not too high of a spring rate) are totally safe on our stock struts.

Don't get a low offset. Get +40 or higher.

bigger tires help close the gap. Ive tried alot of different sizes on my 17X7.5s and I found 235/45 front, 245/45 rears to LOOK the best imo. I had ppl asking when I upsized to 18s when they were still 17s hah

I don't believe that, people haven't had the car for long. But in two years you'll start seeing the "Stock struts shot" and "THESE SPRINGS SUCK THEY KILLED MY SHOCKS". Any stock strut with enhanced wear will blow out sooner or later, just a matter of time and how much the car is driven...

Most people will be fine however, honestly stock struts wearing out just gives you an excuse to upgrade anyways...

There are several folks however almost near that time now and no "blown strut" madness threads? Several for sure well over 30k -50k miles still strong?

But back to OP if you want to play gotta pay as many have said. Just lower it and get look ya want only live once.

1-2years as per your comment. Sorry but I haven't even seen a single post complaining about a stock strut blowing from a lowering spring? If you have please point to it. Thx

Yes, 2 years. You can come back to this thread in 2016, if i'm wrong which is enitrely possible then you win. Who knows, maybe these stock struts on a $26K are that good, it's possible. But from what I've seen and worked on, stock struts don't last long on aftermarket springs. That's my experience.

No worries I will admit when I was just in springs it bothered me that and the limitation of wheels you can run etc so I went with coils.

I bolt them on. How do YOU fit them?

Those are Sumitomo HTR-Z III 255/40R17. Nearly-stock alignment, but more camber up front from Whiteline Com-C upper mounts.
