Thanks for the great post -- really well written and sounds like true nirvana. I too enjoy the Santa Cruz mountains but as you mention, it is not without risks. I hit a deer on the west end of hwy 9 not long ago. Wasn't going too fast and good brakes saved the day; no damage. Someday soon I'm going to try and carve out spare time to head up to Thunderhill too.

Great story Chris... loved reading it and made me feel like I was there.
That guy Dito takes some great shots doesn't he... I assume you bought the CD of images? Did you ask for all the BRZ shots or did he just give them all to you? When I've bought the CD it only came with the images of my car...
