centreville, the shell stations on union mill and new braddock and the shell station on 29 and union mill, $10 for a basic car wash, no touches, just water spray, does ok but its better than swirls...

If you guys ever want to come to Bristow for a little more detailed wash/etc I wouldn't mind as long as the schedule permits. We could do wash/spray wax/ wheels / tires / light interior /. It's a much safer wash and we can hangout and talk cars while I work. I will show you how to "safely" wash and dry your car to minimize swirls and scratches etc. Could be fun. Just a thought.

Anyone use Flagship in winter time? I use the DIY bays, but only use the hose for the high pressure soap, rinse, and spotless rinse. I don't use the brush... I have thought about using the automated system... Anyone used it?

I can vouch for them too. I used their mobile detailing service last spring. They did a great job and very reasonable pricing. I'd go back, just a little out of the way for me to drop the car off there. Perhaps after winter ends.

the shell in Greenbriar in FFX, just past 7100 on 50, has a decent touchless wash w/ underspray.

There is SAM's in Manassas, right in front of Hibachi Buffet. What I usually do would power wash it manually and park on the side and dry if off with towels. There is also one off Godwin drive, going towards the DMV the light right before you pass the train tracks. Don't remember the name but its about the same. They each have about 5 (I think) self serve and one automatic bay.

hey man, so this is gonna be a long story but...the gf got me this groupon for canvas art, what we are going to do is take a high res photo of my old mustang and put it on canvas, and then get a pic of my FRS on canvas as well, anyways, you need a high res photo and of course the groupon expires in march, sweet right? so i guess my question is do you remember what they charged for the hand wash? and also if they did a good job to minimize swirl marks and everything, i just got my car opticoated and a lot of the swirl marks removed and the last thing i want to do is take it to get washed and they mess it all up, I'm out in centreville va so sterling isn't too bad of a drive for me, just down 28, was going to do it next saturday, idk if anyone wants to meet up there, get our cars washed and BS a little......but yea, they did a good job?

thanks in advance,
andrew

I'm in centreville too! Maybe we can meet up after I get my car back! I used the shell gas station car wash , it is a touchless wash. Its in the colonade. Not sure if you know where. But they do a pretty good job for a touch less wash.
They even wash undercarriage.

Once it warms a little, I want to take my car back there so they can take a clay bar to it and put down some fresh wax. My car really needs it.

Wow I tried to go to the Sunoco car wash that @SpectreRT recommended, but there was a line that wrapped around the Sweetwater Tavern that I wasn't going to wait in. It seems like there were lines at every car wash today.
