[QUOTE=brn12345;1421103]I am not sure what "Engine Load Calculated %" is but as far as my understanding goes Engine Load (I have always assumed this was the one the ecu used for looking up tables) as displayed in G/Rev is a function of RPM and MAF. If this value plummets before the throttle is released from full then there is something wrong. The engine cant go from high load to extremely low load this fast.
As others have implied, when you are displaying a value that is calculated by the ECU you are subject to how quickly the value is updated and procesed by the logger. There's also the possibility that some correction factor or filter is being applied that we don't understand. When you are displaying a "post processed" calculation, that does the Load(g/rev) = 60*MAF(g/s)/RPM(rev/min) formula in the logger, it's not the same. You're subject to the sampling of the MAF and RPM values, and you're not seeing any filtering or unknown corrections that might be going on inside the ECU. |

Thanks for all the input. James was right. Once the sample rate was raised to 20 per second this cleared up a lot. It is very clear now that the Engine Load drops because the timing going very very quickly towards 0.

They're all different, it seems like the 'normal' params available over obd2 slow it down more than extended params like mafv. Logging custom map interims and results has little effect on the speed as well.
