Oh I have definitely learned a lot about this car from this forum, but would I call this forum a good 1?...no

Sometimes the information in Owner's manuals is incorrect from the manufacturer. I'm not sure if Subaru has this issue, but we've found numerous mistakes in several GM owner's manuals.

The best information comes from people with hands on experience, that's a big part of what makes a forum so useful IMO.

Your owner's manual isn't going to tell you a DIY about a cam upgrade lol

Because time is money.

My time is better spent fixing small things myself.

My time is better spent using warranty work when it is not worth my time to fix the problem.

If I used my warranty every chance I had, I would be out of a job.

Fairly mature but 30% based on what? No one knows really but give it 3-5 years and the same questions will pop and people will never answer the simplest questions and tell people to search. The maturity level goes down, all the cool people stop posting and/or grow out of thier cars and move on.

Again, fairly, which is why right now there isn't threads on top of threads of endless BS to sift through.

I think we can agree to disagree.

That's fine and all I'm just saying the maturity and knowledge and even humor are superior on other forums. Yes this forum is still young, I just hope it grows up along with its owners

I feel bad now because most of my posts are not contributing to help them. At least they will be entertained by me.

I'm all for having good and accessible information on a forum. But if I saw dealer techs looking at one I would be BS pissed. I've made a career working at indy shops and dealers guys always think they are hot shots, guess what, no one knows everything.

I mean a good tech support rep would give a google search a shot after they tried protocol troubleshooting.

I would welcome a dealer searching the forums if they couldnt replicate or solve the issue.

OP thanks for posting.
