Way less than 8k a year. Everywhere that I need to go on a daily basis is less than 10 miles from my house.

Mainly because I still have my truck and drive it a lot.

Drove..nearly 16k in the first year. This year has pulled back a bit, we will see how it continues to play out...but its looking to be at or above that.

Bought the car in June 2012 and current have 5500 mi. I drive my tC more often.

Used to be 30K a year because of my ridiculously long commutes. I bought my BRZ in April with 261 miles, and I'm almost to 20K

Some people just have short distance trips. Doesn't mean the car is collecting dust. I live 5 minutes from work.

I, too, lived 5 minutes from work a few years ago, but the car I had at the time still averaged 15k> annually. Maybe it's just me then...

how can people be getting annual averages if the car has only been out for little over a year? not much of an average imo

Had my car since late August (2013), my car currently has a little over 2,500 miles, so I'm on pace for around 6,000 miles this year. The FR-S is my only car, but I mostly work from home, and most of my friends/family live pretty close.
