Too much.... since I commute 80-100 mi round trip 5x a week

The Miata I traded in for my FR-S was 10 years old and had 38,000 miles meaning I averaged 3,800 miles a year. I've had my FR-S for 15 months and have just over 14,000 miles on it. You can tell which one I most enjoyed driving. (All my driving is pleasure as I'm retired.)

Had mine a year and a month and I have 27000 miles on it

I bought mine beginning of June and am about to hit 14k miles. I need to slow down before my poor car gets fed up

I'm averaging 12k at the moment... for a weekend car.... what happened? Why are you so addicting FR-S?

Like ol @whaap, I'm retired, but I do get out to go to the grocery store about every day.

The upper arrow is where I live; the lower arrow is the store. The yellow hi-lite is the route, in my FR-S ....... yep, about 30 miles round trip ....http://www.runemasterstudios.com/gra...es/driving.gif

Anyone else have this "problem" .. ??

Bought car end of May '13, have just under 16.8k kms on it (10.5k mi). I drive ~90 km (56 mi) to work 5 days a week + whatever tooling around I do on weekends. I had my last car for 13 years and put 300,000 km on it (~186k mi), but I took more driving trips in those years. Now we seem to fly.

Ha,ha!!
Yep, same problem here.
Also retired, own 2 other cars, so almost all mileage in my 86 is unnecessary, and I've done 24000 kms (15000 mi) in 9 months...

Bought the car with 45 miles on the odometer (5 miles were from my own test drive) and within a year put a little over 10k miles. We took one road trip from Florida to Georgia and a couple of trips from the Orlando to Tampa within the last year.

My fiance and I trade off cars about every 1-2 weeks, he drives an '05 tC. His commute to work is about 42 miles round trip and mine is 5.5 miles:). So we trade off so that we can each enjoy the FRS and also to give the car a break from my short commutes. This is the first time in a long time that I hate my short commute to work and for good reason!

I've had the car about 15 months, and I'm currently averaging about 900 miles a month

sent from my locker... help!
