My bills are paid. I bike to work a few blocks away. Have put under 3k miles on my FR-S in 9 months. Only drive it for fun and some errands. Donate my time to Meals on Wheels and a local pet shelter, and money and blood to the Red Cross.

I've never understood, how people, particularly those willing to spend so much money on their cars, need to be spoon fed this stuff?

I get the mental image of someone buying parts, not necessarily knowing what they are for or what purpose they really serve, handing them and their car over to some joe schmoe and saying, "here, put this on this."

I'm just trying to pick people's brains and learn from others to help inform my decision. Sorry if that bothers you.

This is what I did...

Tein SRC $4600
Volk TE37RT $3200
Bridgestone RE-11A $800
Cusco rear LCA $500
Berk Track pipe $150
Greddy intake $300
All fluids $150 or so.

I have done a lot more now, but that's what I did first on my BRZ and it's pretty close to 10k.

With 10K here is what I would get

Innovate SC Kit
Custom Dyno Tune
RCE Yellow Springs
light set of 17 or 18 inch rims no more than 8 wide
new tires
Oil cooler
New brake pads with steel braided lines and new fluid

Put the rest to pay off the car sooner, or track time!

Turbocharger or supercharger, follow it up with a tune. Spend the rest on weight reduction... Tires, wheels, lithium battery, rear seat removal; easily the cheapest way to boost performance.

If you still have cash left over... Cosmetics like lights, tint, antenna or minor performance upgrades like exhaust, cold air intake, brakes. Maybe upgraded audio system if that's your thing?
