I just want to make the car look a little more aggressive. My goal is functionality, but would like to make the car stand out a bit.
Then do what I did, splitter and diffusor, I do track my car so functionality is a must.

That looks pretty darn good. Have you compared with and without the splitter and diffuser? Is there a nice difference?

Also to OP. I have no clue on the size of tires you can put in the stock wheel wells(performance wise, not uber cambered crap) so looking into that would be a good idea as well.

I think if the splitter and diffuser work good, I would get those, a nice body kit, talk to CSG Mike on suspension work and a Vortech supercharger kit. That would be my build I think.

i dont understand the obsession with the rocket bunny garbage. that kit doesn't allow you to run ANY MORE tire than stock body. how much tire DO YOU NEED. and how much can you actually put to use? i have 265's and there is plenty room for more, no gaudy widebody.

if you're talking about track duty you shouldn't even be looking at 5-axis or rocket bunny, they are for looks, not function.

This is what I needed to know, didn't realize the limitation of tire was that diminutive compared to what the rocket bunny can fit. I am tracking my car, so I might just invest in a splitter/diffuser combo.

I don't like the kit simply cause everybody and their mom has it. Not only that, but now they're making renderings of like every car in the world and slapping that kit on it and making every fanboy in the world wet.

I'm tired of seeing the same exact thing over and over.

I don't think there's enough pros to way out the cons. Almost $5,000 for a bodykit....no thanks

Anyone with the money (or credit) is putting this kit on their car. It's kind of like having the latest iphone. It's 'cool' but costs so much, but in the end, you're just like the next guy over who can 'afford' the phone and the plan that comes with it.

I think the main downside here, is that once you go RB with your car, you can't go back, unless you want to do some reconstructive body work.

-It looks good on aggressive track cars decked out with sponsor stickers so you can't see the lines & rivets

Dislikes:
-Kit looks incomplete with the cut offs.
-Rivets look cheap.
-For the street it ruins the clean lines.
-Nobody needs a 11" rear wheel & 305 rear tire unless you have over 400hp.
-Nobody needs that much down force going down the highway with that huge wing.
-Everybody and their mom has a rocket bunny kit for brz/frs.

I took the same approach. Although I made my own diffuser/splitter.

OP, You can fit SO MUCH TIRE under the stock bodywork... It's quite lovely.

If I had access to the right tools I'd do te same. But I don't. Sometimes I wish I was in high school again so I could have access to my old schools metal shop. Lol

LOL! I agree! I would have liked to go with a widebody kit if there was a nice one on the market, sadly there is not! The rocket bunny I & II are pretty ugly and the rivet holes are LAME!!
