am I the only one that does not brush their knees against the knee pads, ever?

I don't either. I bought them purely for aesthetics.

You may not be driving hard enough....on the street there are really no need for them....race AutoX or go to the track for the day....my right knee is no longer sore at the end of the day...but hight and seating differs for eveyone.

Since the 2014 FRS now comes with knee pads and the matching pads for the door speakers, can you buy them from a wholesaler or local Scion dealership?

What do you brace your leg against when your tires are squealing in agony around a corner?

I have a 14...Honestly, a lot is made of these knee pads, but they really arent all that soft. Nothing close to the padding that is located on the top of the door skin. Its almost like a wrap over the plastic. Finishes off the interior nicely thou. Just my opinion i know others feel differently. Maybe someone can come up with a thicker application? There seems to be a little pkay room for the wrap on the centre console...somehow thicken up the inside foam? Just ideas.

I use seat belt pads for sweaty gym purposes. Rather wash the pads than wipe down my seat belt of sweat. I like the position of the belt, does not cut into my neck or anything of the sorts. I actually found the pads annoying on my 8 hour drive, got used to them eventually but was not the most comfortable thing. (first time ever using them)

my foot on the floor, I have taken corners hard, not AutoX hard though...so that may be it.

Well I keep my left foot on the dead pedal and when I corner hard i brace it against the door (which i thought is how everyone does it). Don't know how you brace with foot flat on floor

Try driving for 23 hours and tell me you wouldn't appreciate a little padding for your knees...

I am 5'9", 165 lbs and my knee does not even come close to touching the knee pad. I do not gangsta lean in the car either, it is just the most comforatable position for me. Optimal seating in a car for me, arms extended, wrists able to sit on top of the steering wheel, legs not too extended. Second to last click in the seat rail is perfect for me.
