I'm curious as to see how many of you have aftermarket mods. A lot of Ontario insurers won't touch you if you have them, and a lot of you have very reasonable rates for the area.

Wow, do I ever feel good about my monthly price after looking at this thread...

Age: 38
Location: Sarnia, ON
Price: $90/month
Deductible: $500, shrinks $100 for each year without a claim, was $300 until I got clipped by a truck tire on the 401.

Similar to mrceltic through TD. Being in the late 30s or higher really helps with the insurance prices. Also living in Richmond Hill/Markham doesn't help either, highest insurance premiums in the GTA.

If you are under 25 in Ontario anywhere near the GTA...I can tell you TD will give you the best rates BY FAR

I have 7 speeding tickets and 1 not at-fault accident (although not all 7 are on my record haha)

TD doesn't look at your age nearly as much as other companies which is why they don't give you a massive discount when you turn 25. I'm 24 and most companies quoted me around $3500 per year but said after I'm 25 it would go down to about $2000 per year???? Soooo stupid..I forgot when you turn 25 they mail you a giant box of driving talent

With TD, I got insured for $2400 per year on my FR-S with the accident still on my record

I'm pretty sure Brampton takes the cake for insurance premiums.

Not trying to be rude, but the fact that you live in Sarnia plays a HUGE factor to why your rates are so much lower. But yes I agree, seeing how much some people pay monthly makes my eyes
