Yes, some people prefer it, but it usually takes more fine-tuning and patience because bone stock the car will just do doughnuts and it's difficult to hold a consistent slide. To combat this, guys often add weight (which hurts efficiency) and add a gyro (which helps stabilize the rotation).

I personally prefer the simplicity of 4WD chassis. They're great at grip racing, and easy to swap wheels/tires and go sliding. 1:10 scale electric 4WD touring car drifting is absolutely great fun. To me, 2WD drifting is an exercise in frustration. YMMV.

Guess you got your answer. It's nice that you're able to buy them matching. No one made TE37SL Black's for RC's so I had to spray and make the decals myself.

That style of wheel is actually one of the most common out there. They come in 0, 3, 6, and 9mm offset. They also come in white, silver, grey/gun, black, pink, red, green, orange, and I'm sure other colors. In fact I had some white 3mm offset wheels first, but one cracked. Now I have grey/gun. The only difficulty you really faced was the stickers, but damn you did a nice job.

Yeah, I have a lot of TE37 rc wheels in the various offsets. The challenge for me was reproducing the color and the decals.

Been looking at a Tamiya one for a while... It's blue though. Does anybody know how to remove the paint from it. Paint stripper? Or do I need something else... I need it white.

I still have a few of these things sitting in my closet! When i was little and went to the Philippines I pretty much bought the crazy expensive ones for like $15. They are retarded fast! I think they covered a 100ft track in about 10 seconds.

Don't buy the RTR (Ready to Run) kits. Buy the ones you have to assemble yourself and the body comes clear.
