Asshats. And a terrible image of bikers as reaction-provoking, alpha male, douchebags with nothing better to do than harass "cagers."
But if you watch, the bike that brake checks the guy is in the same lane as the SUV, right next to him very dangerously close, before pulling ahead, and then hitting his brakes and getting hit. I'm not saying the biker isn't a jerk, or the SUV is at fault. I'm on the SUV's side, I really am. I'm just looking at the facts. I would've never kept the pace the SUV kept, but then again the bike was basically unavoidable. There were just too many bikes.

I agree, this does paint a poor picture of the community. Road rage like this is pretty crazy.

unfortunately, i think most of those bikers were looking for a fight.. the couple of times i've been passed by large biker groups, i get nervous-- and that is groups that go by relatively quickly. under a circumstance like that, slowing the vehicle down would make me even more nervous because there's so many bikers weaving all over the place behind the SUV..

i think it was a no-win situation for the RR driver. the bikers picked him as their target when they started encircling him. after that, it was like a Discovery special on a pack of wolves taking down a moose...

SUV = bowling ball
Bikes = bowling pins

those bikers were idiots and give other sport bike riders like me a bad name.

Im wondering what happened before the video starts. If the suv driver did something that could have warranted the brake check from the bike?

Mob mentality. This is a shining example of why people dislike motorcycle riders.

That was terrifying to watch.

Bikers did nothing right.
Rover was understandably trying to exit an unsafe situation (I would have done the same thing).
Subsequent chase and attack are vicious and criminal.

You got a kid in the SUV, the bikers brake check you, pull out knives, slash your tires and harass you? Yeah, I would have bulldozed them too. Some people are out of their minds

One biker is injured, one was arrested and charged with reckless endangerment, reckless driving, endangering the welfare of a child, and menacing.

Moral of the story here... When you're on a several hundred lb. motorcycle, don't fuck with a 5000+ lb. that's designed to run shit over.

edit: original post said biker was paralyzed. That's just being passed around on instagram, no other source states that he is.
