Agree'd we're going aluminum on the race car.

Aim for 10lbs off yourself, 1lb rotating is more like 10lbs of stationary weight

I still don't think I could justify double the cost for the c/f one for 1lb less, the only reason I would look at c/f is if the diameter of the aluminum one is too big for the exhaust setup on the car.

rally sport direct put the carbon fiber one on their car a while back and said the butt dyno feels really good. I believe the actual dyno said something like 3-4 hp gain. but this is more for the responsiveness.

Loved my s14's aluminum driveshaft. Definitely a great mod to get more pep outta your NA. Pair it with a lightweight flywheel and the car just wants to fly.

Looks like I lied. We added the AT versions to our site this morning. Driveshaft Shop said they take about 2 weeks to make right now.

Don't see why not. There is plenty of room between the exhaust already on a 2.5

HI,

I am still debating that I should go for aluminum or the carbon fiber one.

I did read both product description more carefully on your website.

I notice that the carbon fiber one mention " it will also make a noticeable difference on the noise level in the car", but the aluminum one did not mention this benefit.

Will the noise level different between the Aluminum drive shaft and the carbon fiber?

Thanks.

The aluminum one will have a bit more noise and has been shown in a few videos. The carbon one will likely be quieter as the natural dampening properties of carbon fiber help reduce resonances and vibrations. Is twice the cost worth it to be quieter and a slight increase in RWHP - that's up to you. I'm contemplating the aluminum one myself.

Could you share the video link for the aluminum drive shaft?

Thanks a lot.
