I did mine this way yesterday. Was a lot easier to swap the belt than I expected. I had to use zip ties as I couldn't find decent clamps the right size. We'll see how that works out as the boost goes up lol.

We gapped our plugs tighter at the track and you just need a lot of short "wobble" extensions. It was a royal pain and tons of patience. I now have an open end ratchet that fits onto the extension and this gives ample clearance now.

Let's put it this way I would have easily paid someone to do it. LOL!

Do you mean an open ended ratcheting wrench or a pass through ratchet?

In SpecE30 we have cut holes in our firewall to knock the rod out of the head that the rockers are on to replace a broken rocker before the next race.

Ha ha, neither. Its a ratchet but ultra thin like an open end ratchet wrench. A regular 3/8th ratchet wrench is too thick to do the job efficiently.

That and "wobble" extensions will be your savior.

you must have some tiny hands and really, really good 'feel'. i had a hell of a time trying to get zipties on with the compressor in the way. i know it can be done without taking it off, but for 5 minutes of effort i think it's worth saving the swearing lol.

It can be done with two sets of eyes, unique plyers, putting a long ziptie on loose, pressing ziptie on with plyers as the other set of eyes is watching and guiding you. Once on the long ziptie can be pulled from on top of the manifold. It totally sucks but yes can be done.

My biggest problem is the large port behind the throttlebody and under the manifold. Then again I'm running up to 17 psi and most aren't.

Remove AC for the win!
