I totally agree with this part. It hurts my heart to see guys on this forum everyday being bullied around by their wives. I think as a man you should make your own decisions if it's beneficial to you. I can understand however if there isn't enough space or having too many cars means more money to spend vs spending money on the kids/family/debt. But I make those decisions based on logics not by a woman.

My wife isn't bullying me to sell one of my cars. We only have space for 5 cars at our house and we currently have 5 cars. Guess I could buy the BRZ and tell my wife to park her BMW outside in the rain and snow.

If you were closer to me (across the continent) I'd come pick up that 318 today. I love the E30 so much, just from the looks.

Or just be nice and park one of your cars outside & cover it. Which ever one is being barely driven and has a lesser rate of being stolen (E36 M3).

Very difficult, indeed.
Just some thoughts:

- The E46 M3 is somehow a running risk for engine issues!
Also the E46 is a little too fat in my personal opinion.

- The E30 is sure great fun to drive. Its a classic car, but still very cheap, and may get more expensive in the future (so somehow not clever to sell it right now). Hm, would I really sell this one? I still blame myself foolish for selling my old E30 320i a decade ago for just a few bucks.

- The Porsche is sure a real classic car. However, this is why it may be a good idea to sell it, as you may get good money for this car. These old Porsches were expensive to maintain even some 30 years ago. And costs to keep an old Porsche running will sure further increase in the future.

The painful truth. Though I'd get rid of the E46 myself #can'tbeleiveIjustthoughtthat.

E46 M3 is a ticking timebomb IMHO. (how's your HPFP and rear suspension doing?) if you haven't had any issues with the car, sell it now before you need to dump $$$ into it.

The E30 is another good choice to dump. While the "is" model is a nice one to find, I'd prefer the 325is over a 318is. But in either case, this is the car that the FRS is closest to. Imagine you had all 4 cars, and you're leaving the house. Under what circumstance would you choose to jump in the E30, except that you "have" to bc it hasn't been driven in a week or two?

The Porsche I might consider letting go as well - depends how handy you are working on them.

You have 3 nice driving cars, each accelling in their own way. The M3 is a fat pig - but it's super fast, powerful, and handles. Unfortunately it's also tough to get into the "fun" zone with such high levels of abilities. I also think it's got the most potential for a big $$$ repair bill. E30 is a classic, and depending on the mods, a nice lightweight fun car that you can drive 9/10 on public roads without going to jail. The FRS may be most like that. Your 911SC is more of a classic cruiser, that also handles. If you love owning a Porsche, this may be tough to give up for a Scion.

E30. It is not an M3. The E46 hoever is IMO the best BMW ever, with a good compromise between driving fun and comfort. It is also the last NA H/R I6 ever.
