On my old Maxima, I had a 300mm straight Broadway mirror. It was pretty good and I liked it a lot - you could adjust it so that both C-pillars were visible in it, giving you the entire view of the rear of the car, not just the area between the headrests like most stock mirrors do.
When I replaced it with a LGT, I got a ~425mm (tbh I can't remember if it was actually a Broadway or not, or if that's even the correct size) convex mirror which was very impressive. That puppy let me see both B-pillars, so I had a great view out the back. The convex doesn't really distort things too much (it's not like a funhouse mirror or anything like that), but it does make cars appear smaller (and thus further away), which can take a bit of getting used to, and can be a little goofy when a car moves from your rearview mirror to your side mirror, as they will appear much larger in the flat side mirrors. But you get used to it pretty quickly. When I got the BRZ, I decided not to continue using the 425mm convex mirror. Instead, I changed my side mirrors to angle outwards in the proper SAE recommended manner. I feel that I have nearly as good coverage with the factory mirrors as I did with the humongous convex mirror. My 425mm mirror interfered with the operation of both sun visors, and it did not have any dimming capability. It didn't bother me at a time because I didn't know that I could actually pull the tab on the manual-dim mirror to dim it at night. The BRZ came with the fancy pants auto-dim compass mirror, and after a drive or two at night where the auto-dim made the drive more pleasant, I decided that I wanted to keep using the stock mirror. I can deal with the reduced FOV now that I've got the side mirrors aimed correctly so they're actually useful (I had my side mirrors aimed the 'usual' way on my LGT, and they were completely enveloped in the big rearview's FOV - I could see further to the sides with the rear view than I could with the side mirrors, making them completely useless).

I think im going to try out the 300mm convex. I do not think i will be going with the blue tint tho as many people say it is somehwat hard to see at night with it if you have tinted windows.
