Have you tried the GTP if that will fit your case? I also had an "ineligible" message for the longest, but just now checked again and my Limited with 11k on the odometer has a GTP of $23,650. I can't imagine a Premium would be too far off of that number.

You need title in hand to sell private, which most people don't have that finance. If you have a lien on the title, you're basically at the mercy of a dealership who needs to be able to turn a decent profit on a resale (why else would they buy your car?).

Not true. I bought my BRZ in a private sale. It had a lein on it when I bought it and I financed it through a different credit union. I got a temp tag while the banks did the foot work on the title.

I checked Subaru trade program & my car is eligible at $21375. Much better than $19000, now we'll see what the dealer says.

It's def. easier to sell if you have the title and if you were selling a Corolla or something you might scare off buyers but this car is desirable enough that it should overcome anyone worried about waiting. I wouldn't put it in the advertisement, just wait for someone so show up and have a look then introduce the lein factor after you've settled on a price.
