I use 3rd for everything! high revs while shifting up, and letting the engine brake happen when i'm down shifting. I feel kind of bad for doing it, but it's almost like the gear is made perfect for the condition that I drive in.
As far as people using 6th, only times that happens is when I know it can stay above 1700-1800 rpm. No less than that (47-49mph) Otherwise I leave it in 5th. |
