I had a guy come up to me at the gas station. Asked me if it was a new model and told him yes. He steps back, says, "Man that is a nice ride indeed, Subaru did good. How much power?" I say, "Eh, not a whole lot, 200 to the flywheel, not very fast. But it will take a corner going 60mph" He says, "That is a true track car!" I smiled and said, "You know your stuff!"

By far the least obscene comment when discussing power in this car.

I get head turns all day and pointing. I still find it weird but find it cool at the same time.

My stories could go on for days, but mines pretty flashy. I had a guy come up to me in the mall parking lot and tell me that he just wanted to thank me for bringing my car to the mall, because I made his day.

And your typical asian guy response "damn that thing just came out and you've done all that already?"

and the non car guy that doesn't know subaru makes anything other than the wrx "awd...turbo...nice!"

Yes, MSRP, taxes/title/registration and whatnot. Comes close to 32k.

I just got mine Sunday. Got a few stares when driving it but mainly because I don't know how to drive the damn thing all that well. (M/T & I'm still learning)
Near my place today though some lady in her STi gave me a peace sign at a stop sign when I was passing through

I haven't had too many people ask about it, and those that have already know what it is. Oregon is weird.
I thought Oregon had no sales taxes, how did you get it up to 33k?

That is a really good question. Stealerships a little too good for me, I guess. I mean, I have all the warranties and options and stuff. I'm happy.

All my neighbors oggle it when they walk by and my coworkers are really into it. The best reaction so far... Guy stopped at a light started a conversation with me about the car then passed me his business card before the light changed.

With everything on my car, the most frequent question I get asked is whether is really is an actual released BRZ STI

Gf's friend(a girl) called it the Batmobile. I was like . She wasn't really impressed, but I was still impressed with myself.

Old co-workers and family friends as of late, "It's a Subaru? They don't make small cars"
