Anyone make a sandwich plate without a thermostat that I can make my own oil cooler kit with? Using the banjo bolts that is....

does the mishimoto T-Stated sandwich plate come with the spacer needed? if not where would you get one.

Why would you NOT want a thermostat?
Just curious.

I have personally witnessed an oil cooler blowing out due to cold oil.
As I understand it the thermostat will save the cooler from this.

Also a proper thermostat setpoint (>212F) will allow the water to boil off.

No we use it on our race car. 400WHP with 20 min sessions.

Super old thread, I know.

There was a guy from the US that bought a TRD oil cooler (from one of the race spec cars, would have to buy used off yahoo or whatever), and from the looks of it it would easily clear the TRD intake box. Might as well make it TRD on TRD hehe
