I don't see why it should matter what the brand is as long as the parts are selected for the overall look. I have Perrin tips and an Apexi drop-in...I didn't really care for the Perrin drop-in and Apexi doesn't make tips (that I know of). Some Nissan parts will work on Infinity and so on...I've seen some strange combinations but if you like it, who cares what anyone else thinks. If you were going TRD for warranty reasons, I'd check with your Subaru dealer first before assuming.

Exactly. The car is a Toyota and Subaru. I do not see a problem in this and neither should anyone else. They are obviously the same car with subtle differences. Both TRD and STI have parts in different categories. Some share but are better on one side.

i would venture to say that keeping everything from the same company is the wrong way to go. its probabl pretty tough for a company to have the time and resources to focus on all parts across the board. the areas of expertise will differ and i think its wise to buy parts accordingly

I can't wait for the joint Toyota/BMW venture to play out and the "complaints" from purists...
M parts or Rennsport stuff on a Supra. -alex |

I see no reason not to mix and match the best parts, period.
