I take it all back... (No spoilers)
I want to correct my earlier review...
I am really enjoying this story and game play. The pace is perfect and the environments are so well done. Voice acting and cut scenes flow with the story to keep it interesting and cohesive. The music and ambient sounds make this world real and alive. I feel like I'm playing inside "The Walking Dead" TV show. The enviornment visuals are so rich that i find myself just looking around from the top of buildings for several minutes. Sony may have not come out with many memorable games for the PS3 (dont flame me) but this one is on the top of my list for all time favorites. Okay, back to my gaming...

hated the ending. i dont know if i hate it like i hated everything else about the game (in that good way where the constant tension just feels shitty but you are addicted) or if it was a little disappointment. i think they chose to push the relationship/authenticity rather than focus on gameplay or story or the sheer scale of the game. a special game for sure though.

**SPOILER ALERT**
The gameplay and story, albeit hella short, was very well done IMO. It sucks you in and makes you feel like you're a part of the game. In regards to the ending, I think it went well. I would have like to have the option to slaughter the doctors differently rather than bashing them. I wanted to run into the room with guns drawn ready to make it rain haha! There was no way in hell I'd let them harm the kid. |

Spoiler continued below: You can kill them however you want. I used the flamethrower the first time around. If you fire into the air a few times the doctor backs off and you don't have to kill him at all. |

I loved to hate the ending, or hated to love it. It is not what i expected at all and left me very twisted morally.

Bingo. I felt justified and guilty at the same time. Took me a few days to process it. IGN's podcast beyond discussion video is over an hour long and makes some interesting points. It's loaded with spoilers, FYI.

What would you all have done individually if you were in the same situation?

Not sure how I feel about the ending to be honest. Great game, enjoyed it. Intense, desperate and crazy. Just the ending, dunno.

Yeah the ending is probably the most debatable next to how Ellie looks like Ellen lol. I honestly prefer it over the alternative one they had in line. Regardless though I feel like I would have done the same thing. **possible spoiler* There is no humanity left to save. /spoiler*
