Yea Opti-coat won't even stick to Opti-coat.
That is the #1 reason why it peeled.

yea - you can't layer Opti-coat if you wanted to - it's too slick.
the point i was driving home was that you can't apply anything to an Opti-coated surface, including wax. Sure, they will go on, but they will come off just about as fast.

Get a 3M clear bra. Spend the money, do it once, do it right. Don't spend $28k on a new car and then cheap out on upkeep.

So has anyone with an FRS/BRZ used 3M's paint defender yet? I'm thinking about trying it and would like to know how good the results are. In comparison to an actual clear bra, does it last as long or does it start looking like poo after a little while? Thx.
