Did you even read what I put, I said there is no Red stiching or red part like the American FRS. It's more like this G trim of the Japanese seat, and they already have a video out of the Canadian FRS and it show there is no stitching or the red part, confirming the op's post. Search for the Vid on the forum and or Youtube.

I'm just sort of confused why or how the Scion version of this car is different between the 2 countries. This seems not normal to me. Normally the models are exactly the same except the obvious speedo change. How are the US FR-S models different from the Canadian Models? Are you saying there is no red stiching on the Canadian models? Also, I can't see Youtube from this connection but I'll look on my phone and see if I can find the video. bneale |

I think you have an issue with focusing, you asked about what the op saw posted two picture of interior. Asking about the seats and then asked about the basic details. I gave you an answer about the seat and a source to go and confirm it, relating to the ops post. You should put your question clearly. The rude one Is you people answer your question clearly but you keep asking different questions. at least break up your thoughts we cant help you, If you post like that Its confusing.
Zgrinch is right I should stay over on the BRZ side and help subaru people with information.

That G-Spec interior is PERFECT for me.
-No color-fuzz inside -16 in. Watannabe-looking wheels -No spoiler All that = EXACTLY how i want my FRS!

I'm not asking different questions at all. I'm just trying to understand if there is a difference between Canadian FR-S models and US FR-S models. That's it. I don't understand why they would be different considering this is not normal if they are different. The OP Talks about Red Area's on the seats which is why I posted the 2 photos in the first place. It seems like he sat in a GT 86 in the disguize of the FR-S. Hence why I asked which seats he sat in. EDIT: I found the video and it makes more sense now. But I don't see how the US model is going to be different then the Canadian model. Can someone explain? bneale Last edited by bneale; 02-20-2012 at 03:14 PM. |

Scion's been trying to make the Factory head units a flavor thing for a few years now. When a scion comes in for PDI (Pre Delivery Inspection) they have no audio controls installed. The idea is that the buyer can pick whichever head unit they want without paying for the "base" one. which means lower costs for the upgrade. Unfortunately, unless it has changed, I recall the upgrade price being less than appealing especially when compared aftermarket options.
