I always like the look of the orange lettering when I crewed for HART in the Continental Challenge

I am a fan of just doing the brand of the tires and only one of them on each tire. Too me it can be too over powering and take away from other areas. I did my dunlops with the tire pens as well and love it. Gives it that race car look.

I remember when performance tires came with raised white lettering, and we had to get them mounted "backwards" to get rid of it. Everything comes back in style.

Looks great, I definitely want to do this when I have something other than stock wheels and tires.

I plan to finish the rest of the tires tonight and I think I am going to stick with just the Nitto NT555...I'll snap some photos and upload full car side shots tonight.

If i did just nitto i think it would be too tiny. Especially since it doesn't say nitto opposite of it. Like Advan or Yokohama does.
Do just the nitto, have a friend video it when you go by and take a look. I have had white wall bfg's on trucks and it's too much white when you drive. Plus, look at some of the rocket bunny's in Japan that have done this and most have just the company name in white.

Until you roll over on the sidewall at that first good apex rumble strip during practice of your race weekend. You know, because race car.

Holy 70's, Batman!

I did this kind of thing back in the early 70s before white letters were required on all "performance" tires.

If you couldn't afford those cool BF Goodrich Radial TA's, you made you own.
