Wow 16??? That's crazy, you're paying for it all yourself? I'm 21 and just got the car a month ago, paying for everything. Love it so far, worth every penny.

20 here. Also paying for it. You do know that having your parents give you the money to "pay" for it yourself doesn't mean you are making the payments, right?

Unless you got a job under your parents or relatives that they give you a shit ton of money, I have a really hard time believing you are paying for it yourself. Did you strike oil or something at age 12? I know it's not that much, but I remember lying about things when I was 16 too. Not saying it's not possible, but it's hard to believe.

To the OP, good on you. You can be the youngest and I can be the oldest.
That's my point

Garage
this car must be his only bills since he is 16...cant fathom he could afford much more other than the car itself with gas/insurance.

Turned 23 April 25th down to 14k owed only put 500 down. Using my company's credit union. Would have more paid off but I bought an alienware laptop that I love gaming on and mods to my FRS lol. Hard to resist, I'm a tuner!

Do you know that monthly allowances from parents do not count?

Do u still live with your parents? Do they have to feed you?

much if you are solely independent.

I'm 18 and I got my FRS as an early graduation gift. My parents never let me get a job in high school because they wanted me to focus on schooling. I hated it because I never had any money to save or spend. I realize that I am very fortunate, but when I look back, I worked my ass off in school and it has paid off.

When I was 16 I had my 1966 Pontiac Tempest and a 1995 Civic... I paid and built both if them myself. That was nearly 12 years ago... Still have. Both of them, well I gave the civic to my brother.
