yeah it's a possibility. i just replied to that thread asking how it was fixed. it seems the OP never posted the final solution to his car.

i will ask pete to retune it once the new DW pump is installed

Updates:

Port injectior pump was replaced and it seems to run better. Still getting a fuel cut though.

So i think it is now a bad direct injector pump

Also i just found out that subaru has updated the TSB and has a new version of the HPFP as of this month.

I may have to buy the new pump since i doubt if subaru or toyota will cover it under warranty

How could these pumps just all of a sudden malfunction. Considering it happened right after a turbo install I would think it is something to do with the tune. The mechanical parts haven't been subject to much stress yet right? Even then they are designed to take that stress.

looks like an oem issue/defect.

just found new info that it might be a bad injector driver EDU

update

car is finally running once again.

it was not the pump, or the edu

it was mainly a grounding issue on the EDU
everything is now ok and fully boosting!

So im having the same issue, dealership checked the fuel pump injectors, nothing was wrong. Just had lj from fullblown send me oem Rom so I the dealership can do.a reflash, hopefully that works, no one really.knows whats causing it because I have seen many different solutions to the problem

My cars doing the same thing.. But once I took my turbo kit off. I left my danso 265. Now I'm getting this cel code and it doesn't even want to idle.
