Btw @Freeze2196, what kind of dash cam is that, and how do you make it turn on when the car is on?

Doesn't look like video from the BlackVue but the BlackVue does cut on and start recording as soon as the car turns on and starts moving.

Seems like he was pushing it a bit more than he needed to. There's no reason for him to take the revs over 3k or so. But he wasn't doing anything TERRIBLE, so I would just let it go.

As long as its plugged into the car lighter, it powers on when you turn the key.

That was the most boring "joyride" I've ever seen! You'd better write that one off as a test flight.

"Mad props for the dash cam!"

the revving is unnecessary and not wearing the seatbelt is bad. however the swerving is understandable to break the tires in but when i bough tires from discout they did not test drive them.

Im just going to let this one go...

Next time I need anything from them I will politely let them know not to test drive my car.

At least the wheels look great!

I would be pissed. No need to wind out and chirp the gears like that for a "test drive".

I was under the impression that people just had tires mounted and installed the wheels themselves

FWIW, if I worked on boring ass cars all day and yours rolled in, I'd probably take it for a "test drive" too. :happy0180:

New wheels and tires needs test drive. It is for your steering feeling, the alignment done, and balancing. Beside, who would joy ride your car driving that slow ?

Remember, Grown up man is responsible, and joy riding a customer car is no where responsible for a shop, insurance reason, family life. With all that said, any automotive shops has strict policy on test driving (unless neccessary). Unless you bring your car to an independant mechanic. I think it is rude to request a shop to do a job partially, and then come back to complain about it.

Lastly, it isnt hard to test drive a car legally at a local dealership. I do it all the time.

No need to test drive the car for wheels and tires.. But it wasn't abusive at least.
