+1 tried my stock lugs before getting aftermarkets and confirmed they fit perfectly fine, I eventually went with some aftermarket lugs because I didn't like the color of the stock lugs on my RPF1s LOL

+1 wouldnt waste mounting those tires back onto ANY rims. Rubber is one of the best bang for your buck and noticeable upgrades you can get for your car.

Finally got everything mounted, looks so much better than stock
Went with Hankook V12's 225/45/17, for some reason I could break these loose a hell of a lot quicker than the stock Bridgestones. Hopefully that wears off after breaking them in. |

Well Faceless, I think your photos just sealed the deal for me. That combo looks great. Was the ride compromised in any way? Does the +35 offset affect handling?

The only thing I feel that is different is that with the slightly taller tires I feel as though I'm sitting a little higher. The extra 3-4 lbs off each corner is definitely noticeable, and with the extra rubber I feel a little bit more weight in the steering which I love. I would recommend this set-up to anyone.

I can't really see it well, but are the spokes sticking out?

Very nice. On the +35 with your drop, do the wheels stick out of either on the front or rear?

do the 17x8 rpf1's fit our car better as +35 offset or +45 offset?
obviously +35 fits the rear better, but what about the fronts? will it poke in the front? or better to play it safe and go with +45. |

On an 8" wheel without measuring, I would guess that at stock height and stock camber a +40 would be about dead flush up front. +35 will poke a bit and +45 isn't quite flush. +35 with ~2* of camber will probably look perfect though.
