Mostly echoing what others have already said but my favorites:
Documentary: Senna A great, but borderline idol-worshiping movie. It is the one-sided telling of the short-lived F1 great, Ayrton Senna. Still a must watch for any racing fan, but I suggest that you also read "Senna versus Prost" as an excellent companion piece that is more objective. Truth in 24 Documentary of the Audi LMP team as they prepare and race in th 25 Hours of Le Mans. Excellent cinematography. Love the Beast A love story between a man, actor Eric Bana and his car. Great story and very insightful as to why some people go to the lengths they do to build cars and race them. I could watch this every weekend. Movie: Le Mans Grand Prix Both are classics and must watch movies for anyone that calls them self a racing fan. Ron Howard is producing/directing Rush, a new movie about 1976 F1 champ James Hunt. Can not wait for that to come out.

I would put my votes towards, Senna, Love the Beast, and the Fastest Indian. All of these are on Netflix right now. Alot of the others people mentioned are great also.

I would highly recommend Senna for real racing documentary. Initial D for some entertainment. Pretty much what has been said already.
