whaaa?? ok, plasti-dip has way more paint options than I realized. good grief!

does it really make a difference to layer them like that? I would think each one would completely cover the other...

If for some reason you don't apply enough, spray WD40 directly on it, let it set for about 10 minutes then hit it with a High Pressure Hose, it will come right off.

The white makes the purple"pop" and the copper gives it color change from different angles.

Yeah I just dipped some interior parts that were silver to flat black. I wanted to do gloss but the place I get the dip didn't have any... I might have to order my dip online. Anyways it's pretty easy to work with!!! Peels off really easily if it's thick enough!

Unfortunately I'm not very good at photoshop and don't have my car yet so I would also be very interested in pics!

At the dealer I ordered my 86 at, there's also an option to have the front grille painted in the same colour as the car, although I will not change the colour of the grille, might ask for a quote to see how much it would cost to get the rear diffuser in pearl white (if it looks alright)!

Thanks in advance!

So any one try this yet? Also have a pearl white and thinking about doing this. Other option would be to plasti dip diffuser black and then high gloss to make it pop.

or maybe a metallic Anthracite that will blend with stock wheels....

Did my car with a basecoat of white (1 gal) and then 2 gallons of clear mixed with hot pink candy pearl from paintwithpearl.com

Unfortunately I would've needed a few more gallons to get full coverage, so it is a bit stripey/uneven. I also didn't get the strainer with my gun, so there is a lot of texture. I figured this was going to be a learning experience, so I wasn't too worried about it.

Some pictures:

And I got posted on instagram the same day i finished it:
