Not bad placing for the 86es this round. Gushi's FR-S has an advantage over the bunch having been getting dialed in since last year so I expect him to step it up this year. But he and Angelo are still running underdog with 4-cylinder motors. Tuerck's 2JZ should help overcome the newness in an FR-S. Yoshioka in his BRZ is a true underdog with seemingly minimal team/sponsorship and a 4 banger. His BRZ looked like it was limiting him this round as it did not seem to perform at the level it should; this becomes a question of how quickly he can get it dialed in up to speed this season.

Haha, the announcer just interrupted the commercial to tell people not to steal the banners or they'll be arrested.

The most epic battle happened in the Sweet 16. Aasbo and Saito had to do 6 runs because the first 2 and then 4 runs weren't enough for the judges to decide on a winner:

Should we merge threads?

I watched the whole stream live also. I was yelling GET'EM Aasbo (not much of a Daigo fan due to judges last year giving him so many biased breaks).

I will be onsite at Road Atlanta. Never miss ATL.
