Mine was unloaded at the port facility in San Francisco CA and then was shipped by rail to Gulf States distributorship in Houston.

Stuck at port
My series 10 FRS has been stuck at the NJ port since yesterday and nobody has any idea on how long it'll say there before heading to the dealership. It's so worrisome for our salesman he's trying to get another FRS-10 swapped at a sister dealership with mine (and that's one's been stuck in port for more than a week). I spoke to another dealership and he said receiving cars from the NJ port is very random -he could have several cars delivered within five days or five weeks of arrival at the port. He thinks it has something to do with the teamsters (?).
I'm used to these waits... took four months to get my 8th gen Civic Si with navi (when they first came out) and almost three months for a blue ribbon metallic tC with navi too (first time the color and navi were offered). I hope the car being in port translates to light at the end of the tunnel -it'd be nice to have it before the summer's gone as I see it under a car cover all winter long. |
